Note: bonus mission hints are sometimes available in stages, but not always. Accomplishing a bonu

Midsummer Night Massacre:
Kill the Irish gang's boss. He is on the first street and easy to locate.

Copycat:
Head towards the waterfront and locate an enemy with a bonus mission icon over his head.
Dead Man Walking: Locate and open two explosive crates. One is near where the Predator starts the mission, on a rooftop. The second is in a parking lot near where the weapons van is crashed.

Death In The Family:
At the top of the mansion's stairs, head past the red curtains and take your new trophy.

Under The Gun:
After completing the timed section of the mission, locate three pick-up trucks with weapons on their beds. Destroy all three. Two of the vans are near the multi-tiered parking structure where the Predator started the mission. The last van is parked on the street next to some of the gang cars.
Skin Trade: Before taking out all the pimps, terminate eight prostitutes by any means.

Sink The Shipment:
An entry gate near the shed with the Pulse Mines and Maul has several Les Serviteurs ogling some ex-porn star hookers. Terminate the Serviteur leader (icon over his head). Note that causing any moderate amount of noise or undue attention will cause the enemy to flee from the spot.

Raze The Depot:
Near where the Predator starts, there are several enemies in an inaccessible room. One of them is the bonus target. Take him out when the chance arises.

Night To Remember:
In the museum courtyard where Borgia's lieutenants are, take out all the window snipers.

Extinction Event:
Stay cloaked and head through the first gate to kill the corrupt police chief.

Escape:
There is a weapons scientist in a depressed area of the lab. Killing him will fulfill this objective. You may want to do that after using him to unlock the retinal scanner door.

Rescue:
Use any of the Borgia security guards to open all the retinal scan doors (the scanner extends, and there is no cut-scene movie). Kill the Juvenile-9 leader being held prisoner to complete this mission.
Ten Thousand Ways to Die: Locate and activate the three cloaked beacons. Tech view will make them easy to find.

Come To MOTHER:
Destroy all four upgraded battle armor in the room where the main lift is.
Hot Time/Old Town: Stealth kill the black ops in the recreation without causing them alarm. Use the Voice-lure to draw them out and get behind them (or snipe them).

If It Bleeds:
Disable the cooling fans in order (from one to four).

Bug Hunt:
Kill enough aliens to complete the bonus before returning to MOTHER's chamber.
In The Flesh: Destroy the computer in the upper levels. It may be a good idea to do this bonus mission during the boss' first phase.


Hint: Weapon Upgrades
Note: Weapon upgrades are cumulative and you do not need to get them in a particular order to "up your guns". All weapon upgrades are out in the open (never in a box) and are usually just hard to find.

Copycat:
An elevated walkway between buildings has this upgrade. High jump to reach it.
Dead Men Walking:
There is a weapon upgrade near one of the two bonus mission crates (the ones that explode).

La Famiglia:
On top of the mansion. Atttempt it after disabling all the guns and using the greenhouse on the left side of the mansion as a step-up.

Under The Gun:
Near the multi-tier parking structure where the Predator started the misson. Use the destroyed floors to reach it.

The Machine Men:
On the track past where the Machine Men initially started off.

Monster Squad:
On the west side of the map, there was one of the lift power boxes inside a small tunnel (on the ground) in the previous stage. The weapon upgrade is in the fire.

Rescue:
There are four upgrades here. If you attempt to do the bonus mission here, you wind up opening all the doors and having acccess to all the bonus upgrades and missions.

Ten Thousand Ways to Die:
There is a weapon upgrade on the side of one of the final buildings (you will be able to see it but cannot reach it (forcefield) until you defeat the upgraded battle armor.

Hot Time/Old Town:
On top of the church. use gecko ability to reach it.
If It Bleeds: At the 1-2-3-4 junction where the power core is, the weapon upgrade is on the lower level, where the mines are.

In The Flesh:
The upgrade is at the end of one of the very narrow bridges at the edge of the arena.

PS2 Resident Evil Cheats

Battle mode:
Complete the game on any difficulty. The game will automatically save after the credits have finished. A battle mode option will be unlocked at the main menu.

First person view:
Complete the game on the easy or normal difficulty.

Linear launcher:
Get an A ranking with Steve Burnside, Chris and Albert Wesker and both versions of Claire in battle mode. It will appear in your inventory during the next battle mode game.

Play as Steve Burnside in battle mode:
Find the gold Luger replica from the basement office in Disc 2. The correct drawer sequence is red, green, blue, and bottom. You can also unlock Steve Burnside by performing well in battle mode as Chris.

Steve Burnside cross-fire with sub machine guns:
When playing in battle mode, kill all but one zombie in any room. While equipped with sub machine guns, walk up to the zombie and press X, and Steve will cross his sub machine guns. For best results, play in third person so you can see the cross-fire. If there is more than one zombie, Steve might aim at two zombies rather than cross-firing at one.

Play as alternate Claire in battle mode:
Do well with the original Claire in battle mode.

Play as alternate Chris in battle mode:
Complete battle mode as Wesker. He is armed only with a knife.

Play as Albert Wesker in battle mode:
Take Albert Wesker's sunglasses from the floor in the Incubation Lab after the intermission sequence when playing as Chris.

Easy kills with Wesker in Battle Mode!:
An easy way to kill your enemies in Battle Mode with Albert Wesker is to equip your knife, then aim towards the legs, if you get a full swipe they will fall to the floor instantly leaving them crawling, if you only clip them with a swipe you will have to wait until they are closer.

Extra Movemnet in Battle Game:
A few of the people in battle mode have extra moves they can do. 1. Clair gets cold when you go through ice areas. 2. Wesker looks inside the torso with no eye 3. Steve get unhappy after not having change for a soda. 4. Once the locker room is clear chris will groom him self at the sink.

Get Magnum:
To get the magnum, keep the fire extinguisher after you use it in disc 1. Store it in Claire's box. When you get to the middle - end of disc 2, you will get some foam for the extinguisher. Soon after, you will come upon a fire. Put it out and theres the magnum.

Get Special Journal:
Go to the slot machine in the palace each time through the Battle Game (with the same character). Usually, on the third try, a special journal will be there. It belongs to someone named D.I.J. Who could that be?

Play as Hunk in Battle Mode:
To play as the legendary Hunk from Resident Evil 2, simply play through the game snagging all the files and beating the game in less than 3 and a half hours.

Scare Away Bats:
If ever you come across bats (first encounter in the palace) just equip the lighter as you did at the beginning of the game, and the bats won't attack you.

Throw Zombies Off The Bridge:
When going across the bridge for the first time heading to the palace there are two zombies (not bandersnatchers). Get as close to the edge as possible and still leave room for a zombie to grab Claire's neck from behind her. Keep pushing buttons and he should fall off.

Earn Revenge/UFO Ending:
Acquire the Heather Beam. Then, in a replay game, use it on at least 30 monsters. In Harry's apartment, the ending will occur and the game will end right there.

Unlock Action Level Extreme:
Beat the game on Hard Mode to earn Action Level Extreme 1. The options go all the way to Extreme X, or 10. The game becomes insanely difficult as the Extreme levels rise.

Unlock Beam Saber:

There are four endings in Silent Hill 4: The Room: Escape (the good ending), Mother, Eileen's Death, and the 21 Sacraments (the bad ending). Whenever you walk around in Henry's apartment, go to his bedroom and look out of his window. It will play a little creepy call makes Henry feel disturbed.

Hint: Moving Loading Screens:
Whenever you enter a new room and get the loading screens with the weird symbols, move the left analog stick around and watch as they move across the screen.

Hint: Possessions:
Throughout the latter part of the game, your apartment will become possessed and/or haunted. If you took the Shabby Doll that the mysterious man gave you inside of the Apartment World, Ghosts will slowly come into your apartment. No matter what, however, your apartment will become possessed from time to time. You must eliminate these possessions by lighting Holy Candles near the possessed item, or equipping a Saint Medallion once you go near it.

Jar Jar Mode

To play the Outpost Attack Mission you must get Bronze in all 14 missions of the normal game. The mission consists of defending an outpost from swarming droid fighters. It is a timed land based mission where you lose points for losing buildings and gain points for destroying droids. Medal ranking depends on the score you get.

Unlock The Space Sweep Bonus Mission
To play the Space Sweep Mission you must get Silver in all 14 missions of the normal game. In this bonus mission you basically get to play 3D Asteroids. It's actually a really cool mission where you are in the middle of an asteroid field and you get points for blowing up asteroids. There will also be mines and "flying saucers" to get as well.

Outlaw Gallery
To view this Easter Egg you simply start the first level. Instead of following your instructor's ship you should turn around and go the other way you will fly in to a large room and you can view artwork from a game called OUTLAW.

Burger Droid

When defeating CPU opponents of the same rank as your character it usually only requires 3 to 5 wins to get a promotion.After your fight has ended in Arcade Mode you can select on of 3 opponents with the directional pad, you can't always select an opponent with the same rank but do so when one is available. You;ll have your character rank maxed out in no time.

Kill a Frog:
In the Secret Garden Stage. If you look closly at the ground some where you will notice there is a Frog. If you or your opponent gets knocked in the air and lands on the frog it while die and its angel will float upward.

Getting Expensive Items For Free:
That's right, you can get a bunch of the high priced items for free when you play 'Devil Within' a second time after you have already completed the quest. Various expensive items will be scattered around throughout the game.

Activating Theater Mode:
The Theater Mode gets opened up after you beat Story Mode once with whatever character. At that time you are able to listen to the stage soundtracks, view the movies of the character you just beat Story Mode with and the attract movies (Arcade Intro, PlayStation2 Intro, and E3/TGS trailers). As you beat Story Mode with each character the movies will become available in Theater Mode. Getting all movies requires you the beat Story Mode with both Kuma and Panda as well as Christie and Eddy.

Earning Game Money:
You earn money in Arcade Mode, if you play higher ranked CPU opponents you will be rewarded with a higher amount of G after defeating the opponent. The money earned per fight in Arcade Mode ranges from 800G to about 4000G. In Arcade Mode you will also encounter random roulettes which multiply your winnings. The fastest way to get some money in the bank at first is to unlock the endingd for all characters by completing Story Mode with everybody. This gets you 100,000G per character for the first time through only.You can also collect money while playing 'Devil Within' and are rewarded an extra 100,000G upon completing the quest.
